Default Water in doors

I recently bought a 2016 Lexus LS 460 L, and I notice that there is considerable water that drains from the doors when they are opened after the car is parked after a good rain.
is this normal? I just never noticed this before on my ES 350.
Thanks!

I believe the water should drain out of the drain holes in the bottom of the door even while it is closed. Check for a loose door seal blocking them when the door is closed.

I have the same issue. I couldn't figure it out until I took a screwdriver and slightly popped the very end of the plastic door trim at the door bottom away from the car...an 1/8". Water poured out. I do not believe it is water that came in through the window seals. I believe it accumulates during rainfall or carwashes and sits inside the plastic trim after running down the side of the doors.

Default Water in doors

Take a water hose and clean behind the rubber seal to unclog the drain holes. At the bottom of the doors it is dirty
