Door Handle
No disrespect about your door handle redo. The sad part about this is that Lexus keeps on
turning down customers, they very well know there was a manufacturing defect or design flaw if you will
in the rubber/plastic compounds.

Thanks for all the replies !! After I was turned down from the case manager and his supervisor, my wife wrote a letter to Lexus corporate and my dealer . The next day they gave the approval to replace the door panels at no cost to me !!

Outstanding and congrats. I may have to do the same if I don't hear positive news. Do you mind sharing the general makeup of the letter or any details that helped sway the decision in your favor.

Solution to door panel problems
I have 2007 LS 460 with sticky, cracked door panels and dash! Lexus is telling me because of my Vin number it's not covered under the 10 year modified warranty! The in service date is well within the 10 years !! The case worker denied it due to being second owner and having no other lexus vehicles! Does anybody know what I can try to get them to fix it as they should ?

I got my LS a few months ago, the week after I got the car I went into my local Lexus dealership & talked to the service guy.
I asked if the dash & door panels have been replaced & he said the dash had been replaced once before, but not the door panels.
So I kindly asked if we could replace them & he ordered them without a problem. He said it would take up to 6months
Its been 3months, still waiting, but I know it will come some day soon.
Im curious to see if its a full door panel or parts of it will be new mixed with the old

Bob727, I live in South Florida, how long time did it take Peppy to finish the 4 doors?.
Car looking great, I am going the same route probably with Peppys also. Looks like quality work.

It took 3 days, but I think mine was the first one he did. I guess it would take 2 days now. They work on lots of high end cars and really know what they are doing.
