Opinions on two 2013 LS460's

Yep, all Sports and F-sports come standard with air suspension. Part of the reason the replacement shocks are so expensive is that they have 17-position variable electronic damping in addition to the air bag/spring, which is typically the part that deteriorates first (the rubber diaphragm is exposed to everything coming off the tire inside the wheelwell). The deterioration is not caused by salt from winter driving, as my Sport came directly from California near the end of summer and it has never touched salt (aside from Pacific ocean air in Newport Beach) - yet it has failed one and is starting to fail the other side front air spring before 65k.

I personally am not a fan of the F-sports; I wasn't able to tell a noticeable difference in the ride and have read the brakes have been problematic. Most of the F-sports (2013+) I've seen on Autotrader, when looking at service history have already had some brake work done (under warranty or out of pocket)...

I've been keeping my eye on this 2010 LS460L:

The price went down from high 27k last month.
What do you guys think? I really like the color combo. I don't necessarily need the room of a LWB since it's just me and my gf riding.
Looks like the car has been regularly maintained by Lexus dealers.

Wow that thing wouldn't last 2 hours on the lot here in south florida at that price. I paid more than 10K more for my 11 a year ago with same mileage but CPO. I think that is a heck of a lot of car for that price. My favorite color combo too! **Edit** Only thing that may scare some buyers away with that car is the air suspension. I got lucky and my LWB didn't have air suspension but if I got it CPO and extended the warranty I wouldn't mind.

48,000 miles is a lot of miles for a $37,000 LS. The going price for LS's with 25-35000 miles is in the the vicinity of $40,000 with CPO and AWD even. I would look around more on the big car sites.
Here's a CPO '14 LS460 AWD for $44,000 with just 25,577 miles. I would pay an extra $7000 for 23,000 less miles and getting AWD too. Actually, I think even that one I just found is overpriced and should be no more than $40K.

And I just did a quick look in NJ for this. There are probably more out there.
I paid $50K for my CPO AWD LS ('14) w/just over 8000 miles, basically in new condition as far as I can see.
On that car you are thinking of, in a couple of years it'll have over 70K miles on it and you might still be paying for it maybe. 'not a good feeling to be making payments on a car with 70K+ miles IMHO.

A dead giveaway of air suspension is the presence of the "Height High" button. Depending on year of LS 460, it looks like below (07-12 on the left, 13+ on the right):
I have not experienced a bad air strut first-hand, but others that have commonly report a characteristic clunking sound when going over bumps.
