Default Purchase/pricing advice please LS 2014

I got a call about a 2014 LS 460 that will soon be available as a CPO. It has had one owner and has been well maintained. It is obsidian/parchment with 53k miles. Optional equipment includes:
19" alloy wheels
all weather package
blind spot monitor
comfort package
ML audio
semi anline leather

The asking price is $46,900. Any thoughts on pricing and what I should aim for? Seems like a nice CPO, but I am not sure of the price with that mileage. I would appreciate any advice on this model and pricing. A tad torn between a 2014 LS. And a new UL ES.

Based on prices in my area (08034), that's a decent price. I'd probably be happy to get it for $46k, and really happy to get it for $45k. I wouldn't be upset if they didn't budge on the price as long as the car is exactly what you want.

It is priced too high for the mileage, paying $46K or anywhere near it for a daily driver with over 50K miles just makes no sense to me especially when you can get LS's priced so much lower now. I would look for something with much lower miles in that price range or around the same miles but priced under 40K, might be a year or two older.

I think that is a little high for the number of miles. I watch Car Gurus and see the pricing trends in the cars that I like. If I were you, I would find several cars on Car Gurus that are optioned the same as you noted above and see what the pricing is. Hopefully there are cars in your general area that you can compare to. Good luck!

Thanks. That is my general thought too... priced high. I do like the features and that it is a CPO, but def has some miles for the money. I will see how much they will move, it just came in on a trade so not sure how aggressive they will let me be.

Price seems to be bit high for given miles unless its 'L' comes fully loaded, radar cruise, LKA, executive seat etc.

What is the CPO term, that cost needs to be included in selling price.

That would be a good price for a 30k mile car but not a 50+k car. Those extra 20k miles really hurt a high end car like the LS. I would say $42000-$43000 would be a better price.

Thanks! Well... I drove the car today and of course I loved it. The car fax had no accidents and one damage ... so I inquired. They said rubber from someone's tire blowout hit the front bumper and the bumper skin had to be replaced. Between that and the high miles, I am feeling uneasy.

thoughts?

If you could find out if most of the miles were highway miles, then I wouldn't be concerned.

Neither would I be concerned with the new bumper as long as it perfectly matches the paint on the car.

I would use both of those items as bargaining chips.

Wouldn't worry about the bumper or Hwy/City mileage. But the price is too high.

Check the Carfax (included with all CPO listings, look here http://www.lexus.com/lcertified) and see if the car has had regular oil changes. I've seen some CPO cars that the original owners let go for 15,000 miles or more between changes - might still be OK, but not what you want to own if you have the choice.

Carfax or the Lexus Owners site will not tell you if the owner changed their own oil or if it was changed at some places that don't report oil changes.

The price of the car is still too high regardless of clean carfax or some minor previous damage. I would not pay over 40K for a used car/LS with over 50K miles.

I really appreciate all the input. I was going to offer 39k but decided to pass and keep looking due to mileage. I tend to put some miles on myself, so I prefer to not start over 50k. The search continues.
