Default 19" wheels on 08 ls 460?
is there a good reason not to install 19" rims on my 07 ls 460?

No. You're more than welcome to install even 22" rims if you'd like. 19" rims were an OEM option for the LS as well. Just remember anything 20"+ will have an effect on the ride quality. The only thing is you can't go anything smaller than 18" as they won't clear the calipers.

Only reason not to is ride quality. 19s will degrade the quality of ride a little.

I went from factory 18's to factory 19's and yes, the ride quality was slightly affected. It's worth it.
