2008 Lexus LS 460- Need fender
I was involved in an accident with a driver that had no insurance and was an excluded driver on the policy. My husband does not want to file on our insurance. From the looks of it, we only need a passenger side fender and fender well( I think that's what it is call). Does any one know about how much this will cost?

Check ebay....seriously. You will find junkyards parting out LS460's. They give details on the "donor" cars with pictures of the car; When you see a car that might have the parts you need, send them a message on ebay, with lots of details. If they are willing to work, they will send you a quote with shipping, go back and forth lowering the cost a little here and there if you think it's too much. I don't use this for motor parts (as new is better on that) but, body or cosmetic parts, as long as they are in great shape.
I believe you can use 2007 though 2009...(some others can correct me, I don't believe there was any light changes that could effect this.
It's really shocking how much the prices are on used parts like that with a little haggling. The bonus might be you MIGHT find the part the same color and could be close enough to match till you can get it painted for an EXACT match.
A NEW part will require paint....
Otherwise stop by some auto body repair and get a few estimates, it would be the easiest way...

Depending on the extent of the damage, a fender repair/replacement can be anywhere from $200-$1000 and painting will be about the same. Was the bumper cover damaged? Figure about the same for that if it was. How about the headlight (don't ask, if it was)? Not sure what you mean by "fender well". If you mean the liner, you might be able to get away with bending it back into shape. If you mean the inner monocoque of the wheel well, you might be looking at a total loss when suspension damage is taken into account.
You'll really need to take it to a body shop to get a better feel for what you are dealing with.
