2013+ high beam bulb question
I tried to search this without much success, so turning to the forums.
Looking to do a mini project with the LS and I am trying to figure out 3 things-
1. What is the bulb type for the high beam, I know the low beam is D4S, but what is the high beam, assuming it's not HID obviously, and that is halogen, is it 9005?
2. The high beam, is there a dust cover or is it a simple twist on and off? If it is indeed a 9005 or even 9006 bulb, most of these utilize twist/lock methods as opposed to lets say some H7s and other variant bulbs that have a dust cover
3. I know the low beam bulb can be accessible mainly only through the fender liner where you remove a few clips and peel the liner back, undo the harness plug etc, rotate and remove the bulb out. Is this the same for the high beam, or can it be accessed from the engine bay up top since the high beam is more centrally located?
sidenote: not sure if the high beam is part of the low beam where it's bi-xenon, I recall reading that it may be, and if that's the case then the above would be void.. but just checking.
Thank you in advance.

Hi tofuprod, I remember your post on another thread shows that your car has the two-projector HID headlights. If that's the case, only the outer projector lights up for LO and HI beams. You may be looking at a single bulb for both. The inner projector is for show only.

Your LS has bi-xenon lamps if it doesn't have HID. So, there is not high beam bulb, the same HID bulb is used the housing just adjusts to protect the beam upwards.
If you turn the highs on its obvious they aren't halogen.
Pre 2013 LS460s have halogen highs if they don't have LED.
