Hi All,
Our 2008 LS460 with 90,000 miles (57,000 Klm's) has intermittent starting problem after engine has reached operating temperature.
It will take two or three tries before engine will start. OK from cold start. No error codes.
Any feedback or clues appreciated.
Cheers.

allwheels,
Engine cranks OK, ......but engine does't fire. Usually engine fire on third attempt, this only happens when engine is at operating temperature.
As indicated earlier engine fires OK from cold start.
Cheers

Thanks for reply,...no smoke from exhaust.
Engine is cranking OK, Have checked fuel pump,... it's OK. Vehicle traveled 90,000 miles, & engine has original spark plugs.
Also thought as we've been using 95 RON fuel this could be a problem ?..... talking with Lexus Service they advise should be OK, ....although 98 RON preferable.
The only other consideration would be a bad batch of 95 RON fuel ? Now will use only 98 RON fuel to see if that makes a difference.
Cheers
