This is the thread for those who using the After Market Brakes that have Leds Rods in them. I got this idea from my 545i tail lights. I rewire the whole tail lights on the bimmer so that when i hit the brake, Led Rods will come on only.
First picture is the bimmer so you guys can have better idea of what im talking about, Second picture is the one for us LS 460 After Market !

- I used 2 diodes and load of resistors ( any kind as long as it is below 200ohms )
- Both of these Diodes need to point to the tail light housing
- The more resistor you put in, the more dimmer the Led Rods will get when your on running light.
- When your running light is on, the Led Rod will be on for about 75% ( as my set up )
- When you hit the brake, 12v will send straight to the Led Rods to make it brighter as it should and those Diodes will prevent them from a back - feeding !

I will get back home from work tonight and take pictures and videos for you guys to see for better idea of what the hell im talking about !

Excellent, thanks for sharing! And not a terrible price on those tails, guess I need to see if they have the 10-12 version, would be nice to do away with the yellow/orange markers.

Im trying to find a good way to open up those tails ! Planning to spray paint inside and re run some of the leds ! Will do if i got time when i get back from the rig LOL
I was filming alone with one hand holding the phone, the other hand was holding a testing 12v supply battery so please don't laugh haha !
