All of that work was done between 70k and 95k miles. So now I'm a little nervous that other stuff might fail on my car between 100k and 150k miles. It's not hard to rack up $4700 in repairs at a Lexus dealership over four years (at least it hasn't been for my car so far).

Part of my decision-making is emotional but the biggest part is the track record of my car.
You may have bought an outlier (I hate to use "lemon" with a Lexus ). Perhaps you should buy the warranty. You may get you money's worth, and if not, at least you have peace of mind for the next 4 years.

Personally I still wouldn't buy it because you have replaced so much, and presumably the dealer stands behind his work for at least 1 or 2 years.

Default Recent Repairs

2010 AWD, 110k miles, several intense road trips (4 passengers + luggage, some dirt roads, 4-8k miles each trip). Not significant repairs until recently: front control arms, axle boots, front air shocks. Total recent repairs $8k (some of which was not absolutely necessary now, but was deteriorating, decided to go for it).
