2011 LS460L in Central Texas
Sharing for anyone on the hunt. Miles are a bit high at 128K, but the service history on Lexus Drivers shows that this car went to Lexus North Austin every 5K miles religiously throughout it's life. RWD, but I can't tell if it's air suspension equipped from the pictures, ML audio, 19" sport wheels, blk/blk. Also, 'L' badge appears to be missing from the trunk, but the VIN checks out as a LWB.
Great asking price at $16990, just wish it had been available when I was shopping beginning of this year.

If I was looking and this LS have been serviced religious every 5K at Austin Lexus I would definitely buy this one. My only concern would be the service history. At that price it want last long and probably make someone a wonderful Christmas present.

Good find and a very fair asking price. I wouldn't hesitate on something like this (I'm not scared of mileage on the LS). I hope it ends up in a good home.
I believe this would be the first month to be stamped with a 2011 (production October, 2010). My 460L is July '10 stamp so I knew I was close to being an '11. While most kinks were worked out by this point, you do still hear of owners of late '10's and early '11's having the sticky dash and door panel (myself included- getting my door panels vinyl wrapped to match my leather in a few weeks) and the occasional control arm concern. Being a TX car with the heat, I think the odds of having sticky door/dash is higher than normal so I would closely inspect that (should be easy to see/feel on black interior - mine is black interior as well).
As other members have pointed out to me in the past, even if you have to drop some cash on control arms, you could look at it as roughly the same cost to do the timing belt like I had to do on my 400 and 430 (460 has chain instead). Or you may get lucky and not have to worry with them, at which point you come out ahead compared to the every 90k expense of a timing belt. Obviously if you're a DIY type, this doesn't become as big of a concern.

Service history shows control arms, trunk actuator, and battery all being replaced by the dealer in the last 15K miles.
It seriously upsets me that this wasn't available when I picked up mine
