The plan now is to get the car and take it to the Lexus Dealership and check the control arms and front struts. PPI, Then hopefully, no problems exist. Still gonna be mine regardless. It looks like my old car. I'm stoked.

Congrats. Hope it goes thru. It is great to see Lexus club members work together to help one another out. I think the one in Ohio is the better overall buy. Lower transfer fee, lower mileage no air shocks. I am actually toying around with getting it myself If it drops in the $18K range then it may be time to move on it.

It has the dark interior which he didn't want. And speaking personally, I'd never buy without the air ride. That's a must have.

The rear shocks were replaced and the four upper control arms at 65K. I really like the light interior.

Looks like the Battery has been replaced every two years. The Starter was replaced at 63K. The Upper Control arms and two rear Shocks were replaced at 75K. The Radiator and the Camshaft position actuator was replaced at 78K.
(75K not 65K.)

The Transmission fluid flush and fill was done at 56K. The brake fluid was done at 40K.
The Brakes have been replaced every 20K.

When the car gets here, I was told to take it to Lexus here and get the oil changed and get them to do a multipoint inspection. I wonder if that would be the same as a PPI?

I wouldn't bother with an oil change, pretty sure that was done by Carmax. Multi-point/PPI/Certified inspection is all the same thing at the Lexus dealer, call it whatever you want.

Definitely not the same as PPI. PPI stands for "private party inspection" - the big difference is you pay the 3rd party (private party) a fee to inspect the car and they couldn't care less if you buy it or not. They're just there to inspect it and tell you what they find. This is where things not reported by the dealer could show up (ex: a PPI could reveal a wreck not documented on CarFax). A Lexus multi-point inspection is simply them checking the car for any maintenance issues you may need to address. And depending on the dealer, they may recommend you address issues that really don't need to be addressed (happened to me several years ago). If anything comes up, just take it somewhere else for a second opinion without mentioning to the other shop what Lexus said.

With all the maintenance that has already been done, I kinda wonder if that's a good thing or not. Doesn't matter because, it's mine now so I just have to do whatever else needs to be done. If it ever gets here.

Maintenance being done is never a bad thing. Looks like somebody who has stayed on top of it and taken care of it.

Did they give you a time frame on arrival?
