sold my ls430 year ago, have an rx now with no issues

looked at a 2009 today and pulled the history and its a laundry list of issues one after the other

is this common over 10 year of ownership?

Do you have the VIN? I'm curious as to what-all went wrong, because my 2008 has been essentially bulletproof for both Toyota Design as a company/airport car for the first few years in Cali, then the second owner here in TX for another five or so.

I'm coming up on 11 years of ownership and 120,000 miles, and other than partial replacement of control arms, zero problems.

Of course that doesn't include the peeling drip rails and delaminating wheels, but that's cosmetic only.

170,000 miles on mine, very few issues, still drives like new. I consider them to be one of the most reliable vehicle on the road, capable of driving like a new car with hundreds of thousands of miles on them.

Vague. Can you be specific? I'll chime in with my laundry list: two bushings, two mufflers and a water pump. This on an '08 with 205k kms (125k miles).
