Glad to have the 4LS

Guys I didn't think we were going to do this?? Lol. Remember when the 460 came out and it was thoroughly roasted by 430 owners? Hell it still is to this day... and we're going to do the same thing before it even comes out? Haha.
PS-- The LS 500 is a glorified Nissan Maxima, most likely to have control arm and brake actuator failure. I'll keep my trouble free 460 for another 300,000 miles, doing nothing but changing wiper blades and oil

The issue is, having had all three the LS460 is not as different from the LS430 as they make it out to be LOL. Based on what I've read, this car doesn't remind you of older LS models at all when you drive it. That might be good or bad depending on who you are.
Good example is the 4GS vs the 3GS. When you drive a 4GS and compare it to a 3GS, it doesn't remind you of the 3GS in any way whatsoever, its an entirely different car. The LS hasn't been that way up until now, nor has the ES, etc.

LOL, believe it or not I was actually just thinking about that. I'm not roasting the LS500 at all, it just is a very different kind of car from what I can see and what I have read. I look forward to driving it. I think the important thing is not to denigrate it because its different, but to acknowledge that it is in fact a different car.

Personally the nicest car I saw there was the Genesis G90 - that thing just blew me away - the size of it, the features, the look. That car had a line of people waiting to sit in it...the LS?? Not so much.
But I think the LS500 is going to do well with the high end Lexus people because it's attempting to go at the Germans a little harder and yet it still has that big luxury look. Not as good as the G90 in my opinion, but a step maybe towards where they need to be.
