That spoiler fits that trunk NICE. And it goes awesome with the black roof. There is / was a version of the car (but I forget what it was called) that came with the roof black like that and some interior differences also. I think it was only an option on a white car. But this is from memory. I don't remember exactly, and it looks AWESOME.

I went through a drive-through ATM on Sunday. This old geezer dude (I'm a minimum 0.5 geezer, so that's not derogatory comment about him ... I hope to be fully geezerized one day), was giving me this look, over at my car. He was in his own ATM line.

He pulled out before me and sat in front of the ATM (but enough to give the car behind enough room). I pulled forward and he waved at me. Now this was an older gent. Looked like about 80 years old, in a Cadillac. I thought I was about to get an earful for some reason, maybe my 460 was too loud (even though it's not loud). But I do run more than a couple Exhaust Vents (as I like to experiment).

Before I got my window rolled down, he a) pointed at my car, b) pointed at his ear, and c) gave me a thumbs up ... and then he drove away.

That's the biggest compliment I've received thus far.

I finally got the chance to get these put on. I have to tell you all I am impressed in every single way about these.

First they arrived at my door in a couple of days of me ordering. I think Jason Oliver had them in the mail the same day I paid. They arrived in a nice box that had Jason’s company name on the outside which I thought was pretty professional until I opened the box up. I think he has custom foam cutouts made specifically to hold the exhaust vents and each of the bolts. I know we can’t show pictures of it by his request but this was way above and beyond what I was expecting from someone who is making these in his spare time. Even more impressive each of the vents has the company’s logo etched into it which I thought was super classy. I opted for the discounted used ones which Jason said might be a little dirty. These looked new so I was very pleased from the start.

The instructions are exactly how he states, overly detailed for the DIY kind of guy. There is a little bit of humor mixed into them which can give you a chuckle when you are under your car.

So I had one hiccup along the way. My bolts were so tight I was not able to remove them with a socket wrench at home. I think I may be Jason’s only customer who had this problem. I borrowed an impact driver to try to remove them but because of clearance issued with the driver fitting flush on the OE bolts, I wasn’t able to complete this at home.

I brought the car to my neighborhood garage and explained what I needed done. I was hoping to be billed a quarter hour of labor but they said their minimum is ½ hour. Not great but hey, it beats a full hour for 4 bolts. The tech looked at the box, looked at me, smiled, and said, “You want your car to be loud don’t you?” I told him not loud, just a little bit louder. I went inside to the shop and the manager said to me in an Arab accent which reminded me of my dad who is Indian, “You have this beautiful car. It is meant to be quiet. Why you want to make it sound like s lawnmower. Why? These cars are for quiet and peaceful driving.” I told him an engineer has worked on this part for a while and it will give it a slightly different sound at start up with minimal noise when driving normally. He then says, “Okay, I see what you mean. Little bit noise. Not too much noise. We do it for you.”

20 minutes later the car is done. The manager goes outside hears it and comes back in. He insists I listen to it and tell him what I think. I start her up and I am amazed with how good it sounds. I drive by him and tell him I like it. He says, “See I tell you we make little louder, not too much.” That cracked me up because it was as if he welded the vent for me himself and put it on. He commented about Jason’s funny instructions and says goodbye.

I have enjoyed starting the car up every day since then. I showed a friend today at work and he just gave me that look of, “Damn man… is this you?”

Jason gave the best support via email in my three attempts to do it myself. The job really is a true 15 minute DIY but I happen to be the 1% who was not able to do it at home. He gave me lots of different ways to try to resolve it but in the end I just wanted these vents on the car ASAP. It was worth the wait and worth every penny. For 80 bucks plus the half hour of labor I got the little bit of growl to make my F Sport sound like the way it should have sounded from the factory. I suggest this mod to everyone.

The 2015 model year had a line called the Crafted Line. It came with Tumi luggage. It was white with black accents and black and red interior. I was close to getting one but the red was too red if you know what I mean. However the roof wasn't black. A lot of people did quickly mod them which is how I think they should have come from the factory. I did buy some Crafted Line floor mats for my car since they are the only mats Lexus makes that says LS F Sport.

FYI, that picture of the dash is a GS not an LS.

I just got some vents also from Oliver recently and I’m not gonna lie, I smile every time I drive my car now. To the point that my wife says I am dumb about it. Lol

Good to hear AZLS460. I'm more than a little dumb about it. I wish I could make a good video, the sound on the video would just be bad ***.

I should be able to sell Stealth Vents soon for those who are concerned about being noticed while at an inspection. All of the same sound perks, with nothing to be noticed.

I've been looking for the 50% off coupon for the Pirelli Cinturato tires for six months with no luck. I wonder how long before I see the coupon for the exhaust vents?

fwhomeboy - Now that the used Exhaust Vents are all gone, S & BJ day has past, and the Steath Exhaust Vents are looming, unfortunately I don't see a coupon or discount on the horizon. Even without a discount, the bang for the buck (value versus results) can't be touched by another exhaust product. It's like another member stated, it puts a grin on his face to even crank his car now. I say, don't wait. It will have you enjoying your car at a whole new level.

My car has pollen built up on the dash from me riding with the windows down to listen to it. I just ripped around at lunch, and it was incredible how good it sounded. There's something about the way it sounds ... maybe it's the firing sequence. But it just sounds ... "tight." Not like some old pickup truck. It's hard to describe. The best way I can describe it is, if you hear a really nice sounding Mustang. And the Mustang sounds "racy," like the driver is just about to nail the throttle. That' how the LS V8 sounds, but the Exhaust Vents keep the sound to a very Lexus elegant level.

For those who like a nice sounding V8, but don't want their LS to be "loud," they are unknowingly punishing themselves by not having these. It truly is the best of both worlds. A salivatingly good sound, without being harsh and no drone. Even if I do say so myself.

Couldn't agree more. 13 LS460 F Sport. Got mine I stalled today. First thing the mechanics stated when I walked in to pick up my car was "man I didn't think that'd make your car sound like that !" And they were absolutely right!! Car now has rumble and makes me feel like I'm truly driving a V8. I enjoyed the quietness for a while now, but I always knew I'd want some noise. The exhaust vents are the perfect balance. If you haven't purchased any yet you're definitely missing out.

What's the sound level inside the car when driving at various speeds? How does the car sound at 35mph? 55mph? 75mph? I'm not talking about when you're accelerating at those speeds, but wondering how it sounds just "cruising" at those speeds at very low RPM. I am on my 3rd LS and have always enjoyed the plush and quiet ride but having recently owned an S5 as a fun car I will say I enjoyed and miss the sound of that car going through the gears even when I wasn't aggressively accelerating. I initially wasn't too interested in considering this for my LS but I watched the video on Jason's signature line that allows you to hear the difference of the sound between stock and upgraded. I just wish I knew what it sounded like inside the car. My LS very rarely gets above 2500 RPM as I drive it pretty easy while accelerating so I'm curious what the sound is like for those of us that baby the car and aren't in much of a hurry to get anywhere.
