After repairs
my wife was t-boned about a year ago in the front passenger fender and basically wiped out the passenger side. Ended up as no fault even though the other driver ran red light. No tickets were issued. After $13+k of repair work, the steering seems erratic. Both low and high speed, the steering seems to follow groves in road and is “jumpy” after accident I had complete control arms and tie rods replaced w aftermarket and had allienment done. The front end is tighter, meaning not getting the rattle of worn bushings. Car has 85k miles on it. My next step is to replace all 4 tires as they replaced both passenger tires with new ones and put new tires on front and 20k mile tires on rear. Both rims had to be replaced also but the front rim def had impact. I am so on the fence about keeping the car but having a hard time getting over the fence as now it has the accident on the vehicul report, the value is hit pretty bad. I am also on the fence about perusing a DV claim as I know I will end up using small claims to get my insurance company to pay DV.
