Nothing specific because I've never opened up that door. However, I'd start by looking at the power lead near the hinge that supplies the door. Check for any cut wires, fraying damage etc. If all looks good there, probably time to open up the door panel and see whats up inside there.

This is just general troubleshooting kind of stuff though. I've no specific advice to the issue.

LS430s had this kind of problem when the door actuator motor went out. I have fixed two of my LS430 doors with $6 motors and DIY instructions from this board. I am not sure if it is the same problem on your LS460 but if I have to guess it probably is. DIY instructions should be similar. If you go to Lexus then they will only replace the whole actuator. It will cost you $1500 instead of $6 and 2 hours of DIY work.

If the motor is getting signal but it can not turn then yes, motor is faulty. Nothing can move if the motor can't rotate. These are DC motors and very small. They can and will fail at some point.
There were ton of people on LS430 forum who had this issue so it wasn't very uncommon then. I don't see much on LS460 so I don't know.

Here are couple of LS460 threads on this subject.

I dont think thats his problem in this case. It sounds like a power delivery issue since lights aren't even on....

exactly.

Connector is not getting any power when I tested it with test meter, but when you connect module power comes in. SO i think module must be connected to draw power.
with module connected i noticed power is coming in but not going out to other bits connected to module as in, light, sun shade motor, actuator, small led etc.
So i am guessing its defo module unit at fault. I have ordered one from breakers so lets see when it turns up. I will report back. Thanks

i had the same problem. As i was tapping some 12v wire in the kick panel, accidently blew the fuse. I was trying to lock or unlock the car with the keyfob and the button on the side panel but did not work. I had to crawled in the other and unlock the remain doors manually. Found out there was a fuse that i blew under the side kick panel on the driver side. Make sure those fuses are good !

you remember exactly which fuse please ?
Would blown fuse not knock out all doors ? My other 3 doors are ok.

Under the foot panel on the driver side, there is a fuse conjunction box right there. Please check one by one to make sure because i could not remember exactly what was the fuse for it !
