riknchar, I was just at America's Tire today for a tire rotation and balance. The manager there did say they would rotate tires for free on my wife's car but that they charge for balancing.

It was uncharacteristically slow for them at lunch time with many empty bays. I made an online appt yesterday for today and was in/out in 25 minutes! The funny part was towards the end while I was the only customer in the waiting area and the tire technician was looking for the owner and asked if I was waiting for my BMW. I replied no, waiting for my Lexus. Technician then says "oh, maybe it is a Lexus". Sure, maybe it is. I really wasn' t sure whether to feel offended or elated that he mistook the LS for a Bimmer. I don't have anything against BMWs and find then stylish and, after all, the LS taillights are most definitely BMW-esque...then again, so are the previous gen Accord taillights.
