Bought new tires- Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3 +...

The speed rating will make no real difference to the car unless you plan on driving 150 mph. Y rated are a few more $$$ than V. So are you hoping they will place all 4?
The place i bought my tires last summer did not come with any road hazard. They had the lowest cost in town where i went to get the replacement is usually my go to place for repairs. They charge more for tires but that also includes hazard. And Michelin does offer free replacement.

They agreed do the front 2 tires to match the back ones. Just wondering if I should ask for something other than the stock Michelin's that are on the back. Pretty sure they're Michelin Energy. Should I ask for Pilot Sport A/S 3+?

Speed rating is not simply a rating of how fast a car can go on the tire. A higher speed rating on a tire indicates it is able to handle higher performance driving than a lower speed-rated tire. That being said, nothing is ever going to turn our LS's into Miatas, but my high-speed rated tire has definitely improved its handling and roadfeel.

If I were you, I'd try to figure out a way to get all 4 tires replaced and then you're in the clear. I think you said the dealer is doing the front two? I'd put the Pilots on, then figure out if the dealer can give you a deal on the other 2, or swap them out somewhere else if you find them cheaper outside the dealership.

Just a quick comment on tire psi. When we replaced the OEM tires with Michelin Primacy at Costco, they set the tire pressure to 38 (which I thought was too high). I drove right from Costco to the highly reviewed and recommended alignment shop and after completing the very extensive process (he was VERY thorough) he came out and said to leave them at that pressure.
There are others that recommend going the other way (30-31 cold) for a more comfortable ride. Our car rides fine with the higher pressure.

I set mine to 38 a week ago and so far its been a good ride. Feel less harsh to me.

I just replaced my turanza t005A with pilot sport 4 . Wow everything is better steering feel and more confidence in driving. I know pilot sport 4 is a different league . Noise level is fine . I am driving the car more now .

If I set my psi to 38 it would be up to 41-42 within minutes on my fault commute. While that might be acceptable to some and might yield better mpg on long trips it would be way too harsh over bumpy roads. I feel a bit difference in ride quality on the highway when my pressure is 38 or above.

So I replaced my Bridgestone Turanzas on my '08 LS460 RWD with Michelin Pilot Sport AS 3+ and I bought Y rated tires because I wanted to see if I could improve the handling at all by going with a higher speed rating.
The tires are fantastic- smooth and quiet, with very confident grip. I know the car will never be a corner carver, but man, these tires keep her rear end planted. Step on the gas and they won't give up the grip. A great choice for our cars, and still a very, very comfortable and compliant ride. 45,000 mile warranty, too. Extremely pleased, figured I'd share.
Thanks,
Brian

My car had Michelin Pilot MXMV4 tires on the rear and Premier LTX on the front when I bought it (ugh at the mismatch) but they rode smooth. The Pilots were replaced with over 50,000 miles on them, so they are a decently long lived tire.
I am thrilled with the CrossClimate2 tires that replaced them
