Default Dead pedal position?

I have admittedly short legs but am wondering if any members here have had the same thought: I think the dead pedal (2012) is too far forward relative to the brake and gas. When I am far back enough to make those other pedals comfortable, I hyperextend my left leg to get to the dead pedal.

I wanted to see if anyone here had realized this was an issue and if anyone has tried a fix. I am thinking about a sport cover to add a half inch or so, but not sure if that's enough.

Thanks!

Interesting thread Jeff. I have no such issues. My background is, that I'm built a lot like Shrek, yet smell a lot worse. Since I was a youth, I have always had smaller cars. So, I have always been used to a cramped sitting position in a car. Even with the LS, I sort of scoot up to the wheel, and back off just enough to prevent my knees from touching the bolster. Something like that. If you're not used to that kind of condition, I don't suggest trying it, it would probably annoy you. But if you did try it, it may alleviate this issue you're having.
