Wireless AA needs Wi-fi and Bluetooth, In the Android app on your phone, make sure "wireless Android Auto" is checked. After the first setup, run wired...It should offer a wireless setup option, if not, your device might not have it.

I'd contact their support..

Hello All,

I just had the VL2 installed on my wife's '10 LS460. It's super glitchy. The shop I took it to is a Grom installation partner. I purchased the unit on a Facebook LS460 page, so I'm not sure if it's the unit itself. Issues I'm facing include frequent unresponsiveness to the touchscreen. When I switch out of the AUX/Grom, touchscreen works fine for the FM and other stock features. Also, the mic doesn't seem to work when we have the iPhone hardwired through the USB (ie. replying to text via voice, Siri, voice commands, etc), but it seems to work when connected to Carplay wirelessly. We did a hard reset and installed the latest update to see if it would fix things. No dice.

Has anyone experienced these? What have you done about it? It's the iPhone 12. I've submitted a ticket through the Grom site, but curious if anyone can get to me quicker here with a solution.

Also a bit curious -- when we were testing it at the audio shop, the VL2 was sitting on the passenger floorboard. All touchscreen seemed to be working ok at the time. They then tucked the unit under the kickboard after testing. At that point, my wife and I got into the vehicle and touchscreen no longer worked when Grom was enabled. I wonder if there might be any interference in its placement causing this. I've noticed that most people install the unit within their glovebox.

Edit: We've been to the audio shop twice now. They told us to contact From support to see what they advise.

Update - Grom sent me a file to download. This rolled back the firmware and all issues are resolved.
