Default HELP PLEASE - Keys dropped between seats !

Well I did it, dropped a couple of keys between the two front seats

The keys dropped onto the protective pad on the passenger seat

I figured I would just get in the back seat the stick my hand in there and get them

No way, impossible, everything is very cramped, no access to getting my keys

How do I deal with this? THANKS

You should try sliding the seat all the way forward or all the way back to see if that will allow you to retrieve your keys.

thanks Jim, I tried that but it does not relieve the restrictive ability to get a hand even anywhere close

Not sure if it's the Lexus key fob or not but if there's any external metal showing, try a thin magnet telescope tool. You can pick one at any tool supplier.

Try moving the seat all the way up? Or down?

Take a wire clothes hanger and contort it however you need in order to get them. You may have to try from the back floor board (put seat all the way up) or from the front floor board (put seat all the way back). I've done this a few times and find being in the back floor board is most successful.

If you have any young children say a 3 or 4 year old get your 4 year old to grab it. They are usually very Tech savy to Tech problem solving by 4

In addition to the grabber shown by kitabel, there is also one with a magnet at the end. It's great for picking up light metal objects like keys, screws, nails, nuts, bolts, etc.

I FINALLY GOT MY KEYS

as jrmckinley suggested above I used a coat hanger and dragged it at least five times until it thrust my keys forward to grab them

I did the same thing...twice! I used a yardstick to push it to where I could reach with my hand....
