Default Tire Pressure After New Tires

Hello all!

Yesterday I had four new tires installed at Discount Tire, told them to set the pressure to 35 each tire

I asked them and they confirmed that pushed the button under the steering column

I then checked them myself when I got home, all read right at 36, I suppose the heat of driving raised them one PSI from Discount Tire

the dashboard tire pressure display is weird with some at 38 and some at 33, etc

is that normal, does it take days or something for the display to normalize?

Nope. Check them again with a good gauge. If that relates to the dash than adjust them to what you want it to be. I set mine now at 38 and been very happy.

If yours drop again go back to Discount might be a bad seal or stem.

No, the tire place just didn't air them with care which is normal.

Cold pressure at 35 is a little high.
