Adaptive cruise control
I test drove a 2012 LS460 F-sport and expected it would have Adaptive Cruise Control, but not so.
When does Lexus implement this feature in its flagship.
I have an infiniti M35. It has more features than this 2012 Lexus!!!

The adaptive cruise control (DRCC) has been available in the LS line for 10 + years, but it hasn't been "standard" equipment, so many (most) of the LS cars don't have it. Some people actually dislike the DRCC system and prefer the "old school" cruise control. I personally like having it in my 2010 LS600hL.

Thanks riknchar.
I like it if it doesn't break down. The one in my Infiniti M35 broke for no apparent reason. It is actually connected to two other e-components. So, I ended up having to replace all three of them. At least that was what the Stealership told me. I had no way of disproving it wasn't the case. My friendly mechanic was able to diagnose the problem was originated from the cruise control but he couldn't fix it because it requires calibration by laser and computer program at the dealership. They are the Yaw Sensor, the ABS modulator and the Intelligent Cruise Control. The end cost was close to CA$3,000. The extended warranty paid the latter two, about $2100. Apparently, the Yaw sensor wasn't covered. Thank goodness, I took out an Ext Warr.
