Nice! At my current miles-per-year, if my car made it to 330k miles it would take another 40 years to get there.

The owner did about 5K miles per month and did monthly oil changes at the Lexus dealership. Must have had around a 250 round trip daily to and from work. There is no better luxury car to do it in.

JLAWS, thank you for pulling the service history! It gives a picture of what we might expect at these stratospheric mileage milestones.

I bought a '98 LS400 with 89,000 mi and sold it at 256,000 mi-still ran, everything worked, etc. It did need some suspension bushings, a trans support, and worst was a starter.
Then I had an '04 GS430 I bought with 84,000 and still have it at 316,000. Its needed suspension bushings, valve cover resealing, and a tab on the radiator cracked, but that's about it, other than regular maintenance.
With both of those cars, it was timing belt and water pump every 90,000, $600-$800.
I just bought a clean 2012 LS460 with 95,000 on it, and I'm planning on taking it to high 200,000s as well. Hopefully I will have the same luck.

Seems a trans flush and oem oils for sure work well. Plus an trans additive.

1 qt oil use per 5k mile change at over 300k miles serms reasonable wear.

radiator fan, blower motor. Excellent results.

I am refoaming my drivers seat bottom cushion at 60k miles. Previous owner broke it in well and I am a 6’2” 260 pound guy.

new cushion shows an updated part number on it.

I hope the owner of the dealership bought this guy/gal a steak dinner. Customers like this don't grow on trees!

Absolutely amazing maintenance history. Looks like 4 air struts and actuators were replaced about 150k. and very some very light engine repairs a close to 300k regarding cam timing motor. Very impressive to say the least ! Tons of oil changes and tires...phenomenal

That's pretty cool seeing someone get 316,000 out of a GS430. Hope you can do the same with the LS460

I'm stunned at the amazing reliability this car had. Just amazing.

Struts, a compressor, radiator fan, blower motor, variable valve timing motor...am I missing anything?? That's beyond impressive. And the thing didn't start using oil until 320,000 miles (I bet those regular 5k mile oil changes helped that quite a bit).

There probably were more repairs that weren't listed - control arms comes to mind - but this guy did seem to exclusively go to the dealer.

And looking at the pictures of the car?? That thing still looks like it's in great shape...no cracked interior interior living in Florida heat? Wow what a car!

Awesome! Thanks for posting and thanks to JLAWS for giving the PDF of the service history.

That's a lot of driving - it reminds me of about a 2 to 2 1/2 year period I had in my LS430. I drove about 1,000 miles/week on average those years - I was getting oil change & tire rotation about once per month. As a loyal LS owner who has kept a 400 and 430 well beyond 200k miles on each car, I'm excited and not surprised to see the 460 is keeping up the expectations I have. I'm back to the typical 12k to 15k per year on my personal vehicle (460) now, and with only 83k on the odometer I'm not sure I'll get beyond 125k on this one before I'm ready to move on to something else.

Highway miles tend to be more gentle on the car, but over 300k miles with very little maintenance is really impressive no matter how you slice it.

I saw that, I'm wondering if he got them replaced at an independent?? Can't imagine that car going 300,000 plus on original control arms. Especially with all the times he came in complaining about uneven tire wear and cupping.

Truly an amazingly reliable vehicle. Quite an accomplishment to take a car past 300,000 miles (especially that quickly).

Looking at that history, I doubt it. Why would he pay $400 per tire for crappy tires at the dealer, and have the dealer replace the cam timer (highly expensive I'm sure) and take it to an independent for control arms?
