I have the 2015 Lexus LS460. The owner's manual says it needs 11.6 quarts. I was at Oreilly Auto Part store and their system says it needs 9.2 quarts. When I changed oil earlier today, I put in only 10 quarts then checked the dipstick which shows it's already past full. This means that the manual is wrong and that the dipstick agrees with Oreilly. How can it be that the manual is inaccurate? I confirmed it's the correct manual for the car.
This means I have almost a full quart extra. Should I bleed the extra oil out?

I didn't see this thread when it was active earlier this year, but I will say you are far better off being a quart under full than a quart over. If you are over the full mark, I would definitely drain off some oil.

This is from 2016 manual. It is different for RWD vs AWD.
I used put 9.5 in my 2011 and as per the specs I overfilled a little. But then I used to drain oil overnight maybe thats why I never saw it on the dipstick.
