Default Painted Engine Panels Sneak Peak

Hi,
very certain this has been done before but hey the more threads the better right?

Just a sneak peek for now. Awaiting the main center piece which is a custom color so not sure how long itll take but here's a pic of color matched panels.

Sorry not on the car yet since i want it to completely dry plus i don't have the center piece painted yet so it doesn't feel complete to me.

I like it! Also, did you add the chrome accents to the lower grill yourself?

Very nice! I like it!!....... Was this a DIY job or did you have it sprayed at a shop?

@ chuckinnj, everything is painted at a shop, none of that spray at home stuff will ever match shop quality paint jobs.

@ sktn77a, wont have pics on it on for a little while as im still waiting the center engine cover which is being a custom color. Not to mention i have to keep taking off my front bumper as im retrofitting LED projectors into the fog lights.

Ill update later when i get the cover back which may be a few weeks. Thanks ya'll.

You can match that with OEM paint and a harbor freight gun. It's nice but might be too much silver for me. Thanks for posting it though.

Howdy ya'll,
Didnt come out as i expected but oh well, its still pretty nice. its a custom candy apple red, looks great in the sunlight.

Its definately too much silver, waiting on my Artisan spirit lip kit (taking forever) and plan is to repaint the whole car so it;'ll eventually have good contrast. Hope this helps for people to get ideas (not that it hasnt been done before).

Adios!

yes, on air runners and air lift management with hard lines. the hard lines have been becoming a headache. Replaced two pieces and needing to change out my faulty check valve literally right now haha.

LED (not led bulb) fog light projectors to give some others ideas.

I like the touch of red and it's ok to have all that silver when your rims are so nice.

Flows well considering the red centercaps on your wheels. Just don't take those off, whatever you do

Looks great. Gives me some ideas. I've been thinking of painting my calipers and I like the touches you've applied. Thanks for sharing...

Looking clean under the hood. I need that independent fog light control back in my life.

I would paint the V8 symbol silver too as its lost in the red.

Also i just realized the LHD and RHD have their batteries on opposite sides of the engine bay

Is that an aftermarket front bumper? it looks very different to mine
