Default Any entertainment upgrades? '07

So my generation of people have mostly given up their DVD collections ( I never had one) I download whatever I watch. So are there any upgrades or tweaks or add ons anyone of you have done to the rear seat systems so that it would accept other types of media? Ie SD cards or USB sticks etc? That whole DVD system is basically just useless and taking up space... no one builds anything to replace that?

THANKS !

** update**

Isn't the rear dvd a 1 din unit in the rear centre console?, I have a 4 seater. So should I not be able to replace that 1 din unit to basically anything I want that would read SD cards or USD stick or whatever it is?

Considering it's an 07, it was advanced technology. Not so much today, but it's not a 2018 vehicle. You can search video entertainment systems through iSimple, or Grom. Not sure about the video. But perhaps there's something out there.

Check out the VLine2 at https://gromaudio.com/store/vline/

Be forewarned that some users have been having issues, but it seems to be working itself out a bit. Mine has been working well following the most recent firmware update.

Now that's interesting...!! Thanks for the heads up. Where did you mount yours?

I've had the Vine for 1.5 years in my 07 LS, it's been great for media aside from a few rare hiccups. I installed mine in the glovebox for easy access to the USB/MicroSD ports on it.
