Has anyone had to have this TSB done? Did it work? What did your whine sound like? Mine reminds me of of an electric golf cart motor whine. My 2007 definitely did not make that pitch of noise at lower speeds. I wonder if the TSB procedure makes it go away, or perhaps I am not actually hearing the whine that the TSB is designed for. Lexus service advisor is not helpful whatsoever.

This is exactly what I've read about it. There are many threads about this exact issue and TSB where members chime in with their experience. Click the "Threads" button at the top right of the page next to the search box, then click "Advanced" in the drop-down. Type in your search string - "transmission whine" under "Search by Keyword", then scroll down and select "LS - 4th Gen (2007-2017)" under "Search in Forum(s)" and hit "Search Now". This should be your first action no matter what question you have or problem you're experiencing so that you're not waiting days for 1 or 2 responses when there are dozens and dozens of responses already in the forum

Will do. Thanks and sorry for not doing that before posting. I have read that suggestion on many other strings - don’t know why I didn’t think to do that first on mine.
