Help with Nav system. "Cant read program please contact a dealer"
Hello guys,
I just got an LS460 2007 model .am not sure if it was tampered with but I keep getting the message on the Nav system "can't read a program Pls contact a dealer". The challenge is I cannot get any one who can assist with resolving this issue .I could see there is mean to be a DVD loader in the glove compartment but this is not the case as I can't find anything there .please any assistance and a step by step guide would be most appreciated .this is my first Lexus and haven't used it for a day before this. Thanks.

This usually means there is a problem with the HDD-based navigation (the HDD itself). There is no DVD reader in the glove box - it's in the center dash. Unless you are very capable with car audio installs, electronics and HDD cloning, this is not a DIY project. Unfortunately, it's also an expensive dealer fix. Best solution is to use googlemaps navigation on your phone and bag the cars system.
