Hi guys.
So my bumper has been repainted before I bought it for surface scuffs etc. But as usual with the front bumper taking it on and off can cause the "clips" the rectangular holes that fit on the plastic clips that are screwed onto the metal body... these rectangular holes.. they break or tear and then theres nothing to hold that part of the bumper in place causing it to be out of whack a bit. This is a common problem, so how do they solve it properly? is there a way to replace or repair those holes? How is it done? Maybe this is something I can do
I understand that 2010 they upgraded the lights and bumpers and moved the headlight washers to the bumper. So do I have to change just the plastic bumper or what parts are different and how expensive is this going to be part wise painting is not that expensive in Ukraine..? And if the headlight washers are now on the bumper how complicated is that to change? that would mean the headlights have to be changed too right?
THANKS !!!

my research has showd me how they remake these things with 3M epoxy type stuff... isnt there more of a kit that you glue premade plastics together might have a better outcome... it looks messy.

whats there to snap its the end of the bumper that snaps on to the plastic clips that bolt on to the car.. there are retangular holes that are moulded part of the bumper these clip on to the plastic clips.. the molded holes are torn/shorn off so the no longer clip into place

I recommend trying a product call JB Weld Plastic Bonder (or similar, made specifically for plastics and poly type materials). 3m Bondo has products for flexible bumper covers, but I do not have direct experience using them.
