Changing out the transmission fluids
im at 72k miles on my 07 ls460
I plan to do the rear differential fluid change and transmission fluid too.
Rear diff looks easy, drain and fill until fluid comes out fill hole, 2 liters of Toyota 75w85 LT gear oil for that and new washers
For the gearbox , i plan to drop the oil pan replace the gasket and filter too and new sump bolts too for good measure since it seems to be leaking at the gasket it would be a good time to do it. So i plan to do 3 drain and refills, probably doing the sump gasket and filter on the last drain?
I have 10 liters of WS fluid, would this be enough to get most of the old oil out just doing drain and fills?
How long should i leave between drain/fills? Just drive a few mins through all the gears and back straight and do it all the same day? I wont have the gasket and filter until Tuesday so maybe ill just do one drain and fill this weekend. I will monitor the temp via obd and Torque pro app, is this data accurate? If doing this for the fluid temp i guess i dont need to use the jumper method to monitor the temps? I have easy access to a car lift so that will make life easier.
Any tips or tricks are welcomed

10 qts is what you need (3-3 and then 4) but I would have an extra one or two on hand. The fill plug is hard to get to. Try not to burn yourself. If it doesn't look too dirty on the second round just drop the pan and change the filter then. 72k if it was never done it will most likely be black.

Has anyone successfully got the car into fluid temperature check mode? I tried the jumper wire on pins 4 and 13 and cycled through the gears to activate it but after 5 mins I get no confirmation with the D and P lights indicating it's up to temp
