Artisan Spirits lip kit for LS460 (2010)
Herro friens,
so i bought da kine artsy sprint kit for my da kine LS460 and er taught i wud sare my experience.
First off, i really hate to say this but I ordered my kit through Vivid Racing and am not pleased with the course of events. I was over promised and under delivered. What was the most upsetting was the response time (initally) and the poor attention to detail regarding my order. I don't intend to go further into detail but i will say that for future purchases, i will reach out to other vendors. This isnt my first time ordering aero parts whether it be Japan or the US.
Lets move on. Ordered an Artisan Spirit lip kit for my 2010 LS460 (cant afford full bumpers at the moment). order placed in March, 80-90 days lead time and it arrived just yesterday. Order was delayed but giving you a heads up of typical lead times for this stuff.
This is a work in progress so i will update as time goes by. Starting with the skirts as generally they are the easiset to work with IMO. Fitment of the side skirts is extremely well, i will say 9/10. These skirts goes OVER the existing skirts which was interesting to me. The side skirts arent that much lower than the stock skirts. Its particilarly lower in the front and rear by maybe half an in ch to 3/4 of an inch but the center portion doesnt change much. Some pics below.
Rear lip and front lip i can hopefully do tomorrow if time permits. Hope this thread helps because damn there really isnt much threads on here for aftermarket aero reviews other than peoples builds.

Having some mad problems getting the front to fit. I think I need two people becasue thing doesn’t flex enough to fit it seems.
Rear lip for really well however needing some cutting and sanding on the lower mounting tabs. Had to take off the rear center piece and also transfer over the exhaust tip things. Had to bore some of the holes to be a tad bit bigger.
From my experience, it should be noted that all these after market parts whether it’s a reputable jdm brand to usdm brands, depending on how particular you are, they will all require some sanding and modifying to fit if you want it to be extremely flush. If you’re not that picky then you don’t have to worry or do as much work. The next thing you should know is waves and body work, I’ve never come upon any brand that didn’t need body work to fill out waves or uneven portions.
P.s. Shine Auto is a great brand although they don’t make anything for the ls460 haha. I’ll always give them props for their service and excellent product.
Heres some pocs. Enjoy.

More sanding and some cutting on the front lip and got it to fit. This thing is so snug it’s super hard to take off. It’s also extremely hard to put on as well. Fitment is pretty good once it’s on.
Heads up, if you have a nice front bumper, test fitting this lip will cause mad scratches and scuffs. Luckily I don’t care too much since I’m getting it repainted but yeah it totally made lots of scratches even with tape.
Enjoy.
