Ls vs Gs
Hello, I'm just looking for honest opinions. I'm in the process of trading in a 2014 Acura RLX. The new to me car would be either a 2013 LS 460 base with 112K miles @$24k or a 2014 Gs 350 f sport with 49k miles @$27k. I will be getting an extended warranty on it either way. I know they're 2 different classes(sport vs luxury) so to speak, but I'm honestly torn between the two and need to make a decision. I can't find too many negatives on either. Thanks in advance for your feedback!

The GS350 will not have nearly as much rear leg room as your RLX for one thing, I don't even think the LS460 has as much rear leg room either.
GS350 F sport will be much sportier and feel like a lighter smaller car, more fun car, it will be a little quicker then the LS. GS350's have had very good reliability so far over the years with very few trouble spots, maintenance is pretty cheap on them.
LS460 will feel heavier, bigger, smoother, softer, more luxurious, it will be more of a cruiser, should be quieter, not handle or be as fun to drive anywhere near as the GS350. Maintenance will cost more then a GS350 and there are more trouble spots, research control arms, air shocks if you get one with air suspension, brake actuator, shouldn't have to worry about melting dash with 2013+, takes more oil in oil changes, flagship costs, more complicated, etc. It will be a little slower but will have more power and torque and feel smoother and accelerate more effortlessly.
Fuel economy is similar which basically means GS gets pretty poor fuel economy for a 6 cylinder, LS gets pretty good fuel economy for a 8 cylinder. There is more selection of GS's on the market. I don't see where you would need a extended warranty for a GS350, even a LS in most cases especially if you get a RWD without air suspension. They are equipped pretty similarly, LS has power headrests, power seatbelt positioners, AC seats vs just cooled seats and some other things if you get a base one, GS F sport has a sportier seat that might have more adjustments, side bolsters can hug you.
24K is one of the lowest prices for the 2013 LS I have seen even with over 100K miles. Have you inspected it?

Thanks everyone!! UDel, I usually get an extended warranty with all my pre-owned vehicles, it'll cost around $1250 through my credit union with $0 deductible, I figure I would rather spend that than run into an unexpected issue costing more. Both cars are actually at Carmax, the LS is coming in from Texas and will hopefully be here within the next few days. It was a 1 owner, originally leased vehicle. The price is very reasonable especially from Carmax. The GS was a repo, also a 1 owner leased vehicle.

In my personal preference, the only "GS" model I like, would be the actual GS-F, simply for the power. I mean neither car even in base form are terribly slow, but also overall, the styling, fit and finish for me on the LS is well... clearly subjective but superior to me.
I am quite partial to the LS F-sport, though I myself do not own one simply due to not wanting the air suspension.

I am choosing between a LS460 and GS350 too. I would test drive them both. They are both pretty different and similar in ways.

It should be easy to pick. You either want to buy yourself the bad *** machine that puts a smile on your face every time you get in it or you want to compromise and regret your decision.

It would primarily be just me. 5'6, I'm ok with the space in both. I was trying to get more so feedback based on the price and mileage of both vehicles. And of course reliability, problems etc.
