Buying a Factory Repurchase
Found a 2016 LS 460 Atomic Gray w/ Parchment interior with only 13,400 Miles. It is a factory repurchase and still has 2 years and a bunch of miles to go on factory warranty. I’m driving a 2009 LS 83,000 Miles.
Has anyone bought one before? What luck have you had? Waiting on my Lexus service advisor to return my call to fully check out the vin.
Any help or suggestions

"Factory repurchase" is often used as a euphemism for a car that is a Lemon Law buyback. The Buyback title will be with the car for a long time and will likely impact the resale value. I don't know if that will have anything to do with financing. These buybacks often are very good values but it would depend on the reasons it was bought-back. Those of us who have been through the "wind noise" problems know a lot about buybacks. The state of Florida has a tough Lemon Law statute and searchable database of buybacks. If you have the VIN you should do a Google search to see if it is in the FL database.

These "deals" are tempting but there are far too many good cars out there to get with clear titles.
