Dear all ,
this is my first post in Club Lexus
Well to start off , Am a True Car enthusiast, I have finally managed to Own a 2007 LS 460 in Middle East. This car is not a machine , but an emotion to me Since child hood i always wanted to Own a Luxury. Well it took Almost one Year for me to end up in buying this LEXUS LS 460 - L.
I have researched a Lot on 7 Series , S Class , Lexus .But In terms of Reliability and Durability , I think Lexus Ranks the TOP even in Maintainence and also Resale Value compared to other German Rivals. My only worry was about the U.S Spec Car. Its just been one Month i had owned this Car , I normally take it only on the Weekends - Dubai -- Abudhabi 300 km Stretch. Currently my Car has clocked 120000 Miles.
Well this car is been Running in UAE for Last 2 years. and the Luckiest part is this Car car is equipped with Normal KYB Suspension and not with Air Suspension.
Can you let me know if there are any issue for American Spec LS 460 In middle East , I know there are lot of US Spec LS 460 running in Middle East , Are there any issues that we might incur in the future.
Thank you all.

Hello jaishanker, Welcome to CL, and congrats on your new-to-you 2007 LS460L!! You are in for a treat with many miles of driving pleasure.
If the car has been serviced regularly, you should be fine. The two major issues with the 2007-2009 cars have been the brake actuator and the sticky dash. There are plenty of threads here discussing these issues, and they are just an easy search away. If these problems show up in your car, it may be difficult to get them fixed in the UAE. Also be careful about replacing the water pump as it is easy to damage the radiator. In any case, it is not an expensive repair.
If there are many US spec LS460s in UAE, you might be able to find an enthusiast club or forum dedicated to your region. I know some folks from UAE post on CL now and then. You should try to contact those members and get their help with good independent mechanic shops etc. that could be very useful if you have to get work done on your car. For a 2007 LS, it is not worth going to the dealer for expensive repairs.
Please share pictures (inside and out) of your car. Happy driving!

Thank you for your feedback. My car is purely a U.S spec car.. It was imported from newyork in 2016 january and the car has been registered in UAE from 2016 November.it has clocked 120000 miles now.
Should i change anything further apart from Regular oil change and oil filter? Till now everthing seems to be fine.
I was actually testing my mark and levinson audio in my car ..i really dont know if App the speakers and sub woofers...the audio sounds good.but not great..am not sure if the subwofers in the rear are working. I have checked this with many accessories shop in UAE and they were not so confident to work on this car as they were saying its factory fitted Nd need to consult with the dealer itself..
How can i know if all my subwoofers are working and also speakers. I wanted to get the new mark and levinson rear speakers for my 2007 LS 460 L. From where can i get these speakers in UAE. I checked a lot in UAE but none of them have it. I really wanted to have full performance for my audio.
Also am kind of tensed if i do a underbody water wash for my 2007 LS 460 L. does it affect my brake or tire sensors as there are lot of sensors placed under the body..is it safe to do a fullwaterwash. can this aeash affect any components in my car?
Thanks

Any US spec car, including the LS460, is designed to be driven in heavy rains and snows and extreme weather of all kinds. You can wash your car in any fancy car wash with underbody washers without any worries!
