Default A/C is colder on drivers side compared to passenger side

Just bought a new to me 07 LS460 L. I mentioned it here in another post, less than 90k miles, very happy with it. Was driving to work today and when both driver and passenger a/c are set to LO and I put my hand over the driver's vent (to the left or right of the steering wheel), man is the A/C is ice cold to my hand.

But when I put my hand to the vent for the passenger (the one I can reach, which is to the left of the passenger seat), it's cool, but doesn't feel the same. It feels like I'm not getting the same temperature cooling in the passenger vent as I am the drivers vents.

I know some people might think that it's just in my head, but let's assume it is not. What would cause the passenger A/C to not run as cold as the driver A/C? What could I do about it to get it fixed?

Thanks!

Well, you have a dual temperature setting for passenger and driver, so it's quite possible the passenger side isn't blending the warm/cool properly.

(They are both set to the same temperature? What happens if you turn off the Dual Temp setting?)

Could be low on freon, but I haven't seen that as a common issue.

They are both set to same temp. Auto or not, same thing. Drivers side is ice cold, passengers side is noticeably not as cold. It's like one side is ice, and the other is a normal breeeze.

Wouldn't low freon mean that both sides wouldn't be as cool? Not passengers side only while drivers side is ice cold?

You would think that, but it isn't always the case. When the A/C went out on my 1992 SC300, that car has just one zone climate control, you set the temp, its the same temp out of all vents. Anyways, it was kind of cold on pass side and warm on driver's side. Low freon was the culprit, my mechanic found the leak in a metal fitting, fixed it, charged it with R134(it originally had R12), a/c blew colder than witch's tit. Cheap $200 fix too, I thought it was going to be a lot more $$$$
