I usually keep my car garaged but this weekend I left my car out in the hot sun over the weekend in and sad to report that the door handles were sticky to the touch. The dash did not exhibit the same sticky issue, really disappointing to see this on a lexus, figured this would have all been fixed on a 2012 nonetheless.

Numerous threads on this topic. I think that the issue is that these 2011's and 2012's are just starting to get to the age the 2007s were when they first exhibited the issue. It appears they did not fix it. All my door panels and dash were replaced because of this issue.

cant return mine and I got it for a good deal with relatively low miles and impeccable service history at the dealer. Will probably sell it for what i paid a year down the road. want to see how she behaves this winter. not going to be buying another LS that's for sure, the fact that they have such disregard for their flagship customers is not good. i bet the 13+ models will exhibit the same sticky dash in a few years time as the material begins to age, they were the same cars essentially as our 07s to 12s, only the newest LS would have hopefully resolved it by using a different material.
