Maybe this topic won't go anywhere, and no problem if it doesn't. It's probably a long shot. But does anyone have any AFR data for our LS engine?
AFR being Air Fuel Ratio. The reason I ask is I have an ole antique "muscle-ish" Mopar. I have an AFR gauge on it and have fine tuned the carb as good as I can get it, with the available carburetor tuning hardware. It runs good.
WOT is perfect, but that's easy to tune for. My issue is just around town driving. It runs good, but it could be better. But like I said, it's as good as I'm going to get it, until I make some custom metering rods.
My cruise AFR is way rich. About 13.5 - 13.9 AFR. I would rather this be 15.0 - 15.5.
My power AFR is slightly lean. About 14.5 - 15.0 AFR. I would rather this be ~14.0.
The reason I ask is, I'm so interested in fine tuning my old Plymouth (with 360 cubic inch / 5.9L engine), that it makes me wonder what AFRs the 1UR-FSE runs. I would just love to know that data. I would then custom tune my old Plymouth to the same AFR's (or as close as I could) as the LS.
Thanks! And if this post means nothing to you, sorry to have wasted your time.
