Briefly, you will know that the DAM is working only under a limited set of circumstances. I have tried but have not yet been able to set off the DAM alarm.

How it's done on my 2008 LS600hL a few years ago..documented here in club also :-)

My new 2018 Toyota Highlander Limited Hybrid Platinum package has LKA plus all the safety tech - it is nice, especially the birds eye view camera system. Does the 2017 have the birds eye view camera (360 degree)? My daughter's 2017 Prius has all the same safety tech, including LKA, but no bird's eye view, and I miss it when I'm driving her car and have to park. I guess the Lexus LS460 can just park itself, so maybe it's a moot point?

Newer LS460s don't have the self park system, that was removed in 2013, I believe.
