Tell me more about this trickle charger you speak of.

I am going to get one of those trickle chargers cuz I don’t drive the 460 as often as it needs.

Anyway, it starts great so no worries for a while.

it is called a Battery Tender and you can get it at any auto supply store. About 45.00 with tax. Hope this helps. Take care.

… A Ford Taurus? Picture, or you never bought it. I gotta say, you're on a track. 740iL, LS460, Taurus SHO. What's next? A Veloster Turbo? OK, Ok, ok … I jest. I have nothing against a Taurus. I would like to see a picture of your new ride.

That should beat the LS in the quarter mile by a couple car lengths. Assuming 13.6 (SHO) versus 14.0 LS. I've seen it 13.9 and 14.1 for the LS 460 so I'm splitting the difference. Either way, the SHO goes across the line first. Not bad.

The LS 500 is 13.8 seconds for the RWD and 13.7 for the AWD. So the SHO still whoops it.

(Note to self … must buy a car that can do 13.5 seconds in order to keep up (or beat) roadfrog!)

I wonder if whoever has your car now is enjoying the Exhaust Vents? Too bad you live so far away, and way far away from America in a foreign land. Would be nice to meet you Chris! Good luck with the Taurus, hope it dusts a few cars here and there! I got to beat some kind of Mercedes SUV (GLK 550 or something like that, I don't know Mercedes cars) the other day. I'm sure it had more power than the 460, but it had more girth too. Once we got off the line he stayed about 1.5 cars back. And when the Mercedes SUV shifted (I heard this later), it would make a cool crackling sound. I liked the sound.

Just added 20% ceramic tint all-around and installed the new Lloyd Luxe mats. Very pleased on both counts!

Yes.

Tomorrow at 1100...tint.
I'm currently looking at new wheels and tires
I WAS looking at speakers, but as is the case with the ML system in the LS, everything works together in complicated harmony, so I'm gonna leave it. It's not quite as good as the ML, but it's good enough. My local stereo shop stated that I'd be entering a proverbial "rabbit hole" to get anything to sound better than the stock setup...ie: $$ and heartache.
I'm going to black out the chrome trim around the grill to make it look more sinister, but it looks good as is for now...piano black with chrome trim.

Likewise my friend.

Chris,

Admittedly, I'm a little jealous. I like big 3 cars, and you having one that is quicker than the LS … it just bugs me. DAMN YOU! Let me look at the spec's of the CTS-V (and ignore the reliability ratings). Hehehehe.

Oliver, or you could just look into the HKS supercharger for the LS. LOlL

The CTS V was on my list, but even a several year old model is mega $$. Plus, the car would have required significant mods to allow 4 down towing. It is an absolute beast.

Have you seen the new CT6-V? That's the one to have.

Why would you want to do that? Behind an RV?
