2009 ls460 front strut bad yikes

Default 2009 ls460 front strut bad yikes

So my front driver side strut went bad I have the awd version with air suspension dealer quotes $1600 for this part any other cheaper options out there

Got mine off ebay for $625 shipped with 55K miles on it, replaced myself within 30-minutes and all is well.

it is def not a job for the novice mechanic, you have to know what you're doing

Very easy. Instead of separating the upper control arms however, I used a pittman puller to disconnect the tie-rod from the hub and raised the hub with a jack to slip the strut out/in. Seemed easier to me than what they show in the video and worked well.

when I swapped out the OEM air suspension on my LS430 for aftermarket air, I did that.
was super easy & saved me at least 20 minuets each
