$$$ and access to an excellent fabricator. There are many many reasons nobody has done that swap to these cars.

I have access to all the supra parts needed. Main concern is what will have to be deleted from the ls460 for this conversion

Namely because these cars are just now finding their ways into the hands of people who would even consider it, but mostly because there are better/cheaper recipient cars for that swap.

Let me ask this first: what's your ultimate goal with the car? Remember that the L with Air is a 4500lb luxury land yacht in RWD form.

im a welder basically can fab anything
my brother owns a auto shop that we can do the swap.

A boosted in-line 6 not designed for it will ruin the driving aesthetics of this particular car. A torquey V8 is needed to push this boat around.

Had you said this was going to be a show car, intended for scene points and the back of a trailer between auto shows, if have said "go for it". But if that were the case, and you in fact had the skills to pull this off I don't think you'd be asking this question in the way that you did.

Your money and time would be better spent on another project, leave the LS as it was built. If you want to lower it, change the appearance, get wheels, etc then have at it, but the engineers knew what they were doing with the motors that come in these from the factory.

I believe there is a supercharger in the works for the 4.6L or how about an ISF 5.0 V8 engine
That project would make more sense

You're not getting the responses because we really don't know the answer. I suppose this swap could have been done before but we don't know of one. I do kind of agree with what's been said in that if you're asking this question on the forum this could prove to be a fairly involved project for you. Dropping the engine in the car is the easy part, getting all of the modules and electrics to talk and work together will be tough. What's your plan for a transmission? New transmission means new driveshaft, etc...... You'll need to fab headers, exhaust, intakes, possibly move components under the hood. If you want this to be a working, drivable show car that looks factory then it isn't going to be cheap. I've been witness to many engine swaps in race cars where things don't need to be pretty and it never goes as planned. Just like restoring a car....figure what the absolute highest cost could be......and then triple it. With all of that being said, if you move forward please be sure to post pics, because I want to see it!

Ill keep you guys posted..

as for the 2jz... head have to be redone. Motor already equiped with t72 single. All ecu plus harness is all intact.

All electronic control components is a big factor to play on the swap. As for as drivetrain. There are a few setup that can be installed. Like differential and so. There will be no change in the tranny. Keeping it automatic if we do perform this swap.

its tempting.. very challenging. .. anything is possible
