Default Tempting...

Found this white 2013 460L for only $27K. Has AWD too and rear heated seats, and LED headlights with auto hi-beam. I would just be losing air suspension and reclining rear seat package. First 2013+ car I've seen in an L that makes me feel as though I wouldn't be giving up too much from my current setup. Man, it is all the way in Mass. I haven't checked the service history or anything. I love our current SWB but this white L is actually closer to my original list of desirable. It does have a smidge more miles than my current car.

Wish the Mass car had the bamboo wood from this one, but I don't think bamboo was even an option for 2013s:

Hi Fto1

it it does appear to be a nice looking vehicle, but look closer at mats in trunk, carpet, cup holders and it has a tow hook. I would be very leery of such a car myself. I cannot believe a dealer would put a car photo up without first detailing the thing.

Also, being from the south, I’m not sure I would purchase a car from the northeast. Especially since they put salt and brine etc., on roads. That is just me.

However, good luck in your search.

Bamboo wood was only available on the 600 in 2013.

Not sure where you've been looking FatherTo1, but this one is a typically equipped '13 AWD L, all of which have heated rear seats.

Thanks, Cubby, I was disappointed they didnt clean out the cup holders too before posting the photo. As for the hitch, I have the same hitch on our 2013 for bike rack, but I hear ya regarding towing concerns.

Thanks, TriC. Surprisingly, 2015 models dont all have rear heated seats. Glad it was still standard on 2013.

I wouldn't do it. Yours is a better color combo IMHO, its better optioned...and its a CA car while this is from MA with snow and salt, if you look at the front its got scuffs at the corners...carpets are rough.

I wouldn't do it based on miles alone. 110K on a 2013? I just crossed over a 110K on my 2007 LS460 SWB and it's still riding like new. Probably best to try to find and something with lower miles.

Thanks, Steve and profbigs88. I am not scared off by miles because I drive more than avaerage and already have close to 98K on my 2013. By next Summer I will probably be at 110K. The car still drives like new (or what I think would be new) at 98K.

I appreciate everyone looking out for me and helping me see things clearly. CLers have saved me from bad decisions in the past and you all continue to make good sense. Thanks again to everyone. I will ignore this car listing.

I wouldn't do it either. You want to move to a better vehicle, not the other way around.

I wouldn't be scared off by the miles on this one but I would look very closely at service history. They're right to be scared of cars mainly residing in the NE, especially areas with lots of snow.

It's optioned very interestingly. I thought most "L" models had air suspension, more with than without. Also, I hadn't really seen the LED headlamps without some other options such as the Semi-Aniline which this one appears to be missing. Heated rear seats are standard with the AWD (I think on all 2013+ models).

I would keep what you have since you're happy with it unless you find something that checks every box (or almost every).

13+s are becoming more common around my area as well and its creating enough competition that the prices are less inflated then usual.

I refuse to buy an AWD though, and that's what they all have been so far.

My ideal would be a 13+ long wheel base , non air suspension + RWD

IMHO in our region is extraordinarily rare to find a car that has air suspension at all.

Remember i found my unicorn in Kansas, and I also wasn't searching for one with air.
