The new OEMs arrived, and either they really are new, or they are the best rebuilds I've ever seen.

Unlike the original ones, these have a KYB label encircling the bottom of the strut's shaft, near the bottom, but I fully believe KYB is the original manufacturer of these damper/spring units.

I'll likely start on this week-after-next, as that's a four day weekend for me.

Oh, and the Arnotts losing air wasn't a one-off thing. It's doing it over the course of 24 hours, now.

 

I would like pics of the old/new OEM shocks at your leisure. Just so I can bookmark it for the day I need to go down that road. Hopefully not for a long time though.
