help needed LS460 to purchase
Looking to buy a 2105 LS460 AWD with 32400 miles. Lexus dealership shows the car hit a curb and they replaced front subframe engine cradle, steering linkage, inner fender lining, front stabilizer. Driven the car and seems straight as an arrow. Should I avoid this car? Thank you, Steve

What price are they asking? While not necessarily a deal killer I'd expect to see a significant discount based on the history. Ask to see the full report from their body shop too And maybe a call to the prior owner.

I see the car you're looking at and I checked its service history. That is not the only accident that car had. The Carfax shows it crashed into another car (front impact) when it was about 4 months old and had to be towed from the scene. And then there's the "curb" crash damage. To do that much damage, they really had to hit a curb with some real speed. I see that it is an AWD and I see where Tansky bought it at the auction. Check your PM's.

Without looking up values on KBB, Edmunds or NADA, I'd agree with DedBirdDog. It seems a little high priced.

Finally found my 2015 LS 460 F sport crafted line
After months searching for one and much help from Dedbirddog, I purchased it from Bob Moore Porrsche in OKC for $36,588.00. It had 36,500 miles with 8 months/ 12K warranty left. I love it!

Congrats on the LS.
If you understand mechanics and have an actual account of a car's accident then you can buy and drive one with accident history, but this is a calculated decision. However, you shouldn't EVER pay anywhere near retail for an accident history car because you'll never be able to sell/trade anywhere near retail.
Every dealer on the planet when you want to trade an accident history car: "we're 40% under retail because of the carfax history, we have no idea how much damage, it probably has a welded frame, we'll never be able to sell it"
Same dealer on same car when it's being sold: "the car operates just fine, it was just a love tap and they buffed out the bumper cover, since it was only a minor accident it doesn't affect the price and that's why it's priced at retail"
