Opinions on LS460 vs Kia Stinger
I know these cars are in two different categories but I'm just curious about any thoughts about them, especially if you've ridden/driven the Stinger GT.
My future plan right now is to move from my LS430 to a 2013+ LS460 in another year or two when the price starts dropping into the lower $20's for one. However, I just got back from SEMA last week and they had some Stingers out there doing some drifting and easily white smoking the tires. I've now started looking into the Stinger and I think for a sporty 4-door with some room it could be a viable option for me. I have seen some up close but haven't been able to sit or drive one yet. It looks as though they are starting to build momentum with the Stinger and will have some decent aftermarket parts for them. I saw some talk about how adding an exhaust and tune to a Stinger GT will bring the stock 365 hp up to around 420 hp. It looks like it could be a sporty and fun 4-door car.
As much as I think the Stingers are cool I'm not sure I could own a KIA especially over having a Lexus but KIA is trying hard to make themselves a valid option.
Thoughts?

I've spent quite a bit of time with the Stinger, and am buying one to replace my GS.
The Stinger rides pretty harsh compared to my GS, so it's going to be a LOT harsher than an LS, if that's what you're used to. It's also a step down in terms of interior/material quality over the LS and GS.
However, it features a lot more tech features, tons of power, fast acceleration, and overall it's just a fun package. I also think it's absolutely gorgeous.

I test drove one in May and absolutely fell in love with it. The only reason I'm not driving one now, is because it cannot be towed behind my motorhome. The Stinger was smooth, FAST as %^#% and cornered like a slot car. It also had tremendous brakes and wonderful tech. Throw in that ridiculous warranty from KIA, and it's a real winner. As JDR said, it is also GORGEOUS....inside and out.

Motor Trend's long term review showed no issues either, other than a rattle which was repaired. Even their review of the dealership experience was ok and no worse than any other dealer network. And then there's Autocar magazine in the UK, (UK's version of C&D) who said this:
But, to bring us back to where we started, the killer question about a long-term test car always seems to me to be about how you feel about it on the day you wave goodbye to it – and how that’s different from the way you felt on day one. To a man, every member of the Autocar road test team said their esteem for the car had gently grown over time, for a car that combines style, comfort, practicality, driver appeal and value in a way that’s genuinely rare to find.
There is certainly more than meets the eye about the Stinger; and considering how often you catch people looking at it, that’s saying something.

We have two other Stinger owners here on the forum, so you can look to their threads in Car Chat for their experience. One has had a few small nags - paint flaw, a couple rattles, etc. and the other's experience has been flawless. As noted above, the Stinger forum is a great place to look for owner experiences and I was quite happy to see how pleased actual owners have been.

The Stinger is a great car, but absolutely nothing like the LS in any way other than its RWD and has 4 doors.

According to the reviewers and my personal test drives, I would say the G70 is definitely more buttoned down than the Stinger.
My big beef with Hyundai is dealing with customer care when you have a big warranty claim. I leased a 2015 Genesis sedan and had a few issues with it, nothing major. But on the forums, there were some horror stories coming from other owners. The mandatory pano sun roof is a case in point.
