Default HID. Bulb slight flickering when it comes on ... on one side

is that a sign that it is on its way out?

Mine was doing this not too long ago. Driver's side would flicker and go out. Turning off the switch and turning it back on would fix it temporarily. Eventually the passenger side died leaving me with no headlights at times. Changed both bulbs and haven't seen the issue again. So yes.

So guess what guys LOL here's a follow Ive been putting off buying new HID bulbs, today when I spent 40minutes in the car a/c off but ignition on, car not running my friend and I were running some tests via the ODB port... long story short, the battery died. before that it was sitting unused at lexus for 3 months and I have only been doing very very short city runs for 2-3 weeks. Anyways the left bulb has been doing that for a while, but guess what after the boost, driving for an hour or so, the bulb looks normal now, till will tell, but looks like it was a battery issue and not a bulb issue? what gives? LOL

you can always swap the headlight bulb with the other side to see if that fixes it! then you know its a bulb. had a similar problem, bad ballast!

So guys I was happy for no reason, now that I have put a proper battery back in, the bulb is back to dim and going out.. so I guess the ballast was compensating for something and made it brighter? No idea anyways no choice but new bulbs

Hi , my left headlamp was going off after driving awhile and would come back when i turned the light switch off and back on , had it replaced and had a another bulb fitted on the RHS to match but now after awhile a warning comes up on the dash every time ..."Check Headlight System" .........what could be the issue here ???

One of my low beam HID headlights goes off occasionally and will turn back on by turning the lights off and on. Contemplating replacing bulbs. Found a nice how to video here

If you want to change the fog lights...that is how you access them as well...
