Control Arms: AWD v. RWD
#16
I found 6 of the 8 arms made by beck/arnley from Rock Auto. Here are the part numbers
upper forwards
1027634
1027635
upper rearward
1028199
1028200
Lower forward
1028162
1028163
My plan is to buy used lower rears from a wrecked 13+

So for the AWD front end LCA, are the part numbers 48623 and 48624 correct or the diagram and the parts are incorrect as well?
So my takeaway from this is the top are identical. The rearward LCAs are the same except the forward-facing LCAs for both left and right side. These would be the rod-like arm with balljoints?
Many thanks for gathering this outstanding comparison for us!

Third option, there are too many variables on the LS to risk saying which is correct. I can say for '09, that there are old part numbers and updated part numbers. Old parts are still out there. First get with a dealer for correct OEM numbers for your VIN. Then go from there by contacting the vendor directly for part numbers. If an error is made, it's their doing and you can get it corrected at no cost. There's lots of well informed members but more who may get it wrong.

I recently came across the brand Figs, who uses polyurethane & has lifetime warranty. I’m sure the ride will be a little stiffer and more responsive, which is fine w/ me.
If anyone has or has had Figs bushings, pls chime in.

I recently purchased a $600 awd core kit from FIGS. Quality kit but upon finding out I need the LCA (ones that are responsible for the turning), I called them, and they informed me they do not make that set. So you will need to find the bushings for your awd LCA(48623 & 48624) or, buy oem from Lexus which is $$$.
This is why this comparison post is crucial.

Good afternoon. I bought myself an LS460 AWD 2011 on springs, I live in Belarus and this is the only such car in my whole country. Can't order any suspension parts. Tell me, are there analogues of the front shock absorbers?
