What clock settings are you using?
TIME ZONE?
DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME?
AUTO ADJUST CLOCK?

There was a recall or TSB for unreliable clocks in 2013 models...

The TSB (attached) I remember had to do with DST adjustment in 2013 MY cars. I mentioned this to the OP in another thread. Are you referring to a different TSB?

I remember something specifically about them keeping time. Maybe it was just another member who had the same issue...

I had a slight issue with my clock once and I just reset the settings in the menu and it corrected it. But I also remember reading something about a TSB on these and if memory serves correct, I do believe it was specifically on the 2013 MY.

Thanks every one for help on my clock issue.Have go to dealer ask for a replacement because mine is out of warranty (73,000 now). Bought from Chrysler dealer who don't know much about Lexus, while went thru Carfax which said the car was checked regularly by Nalley Lexus in Atlanta . Recently it was checked @ 63000 miles, and mileage i got when I bought is 70,300 miles. Second problem about driver seat switch up/down, Initially my mechanic thought may be need to replace the switch only, but to day after testing switches, and with the seat removed, he found that one of rear up motor is broken, need to replace. and part is not inexpensive. So any LS460 owner have that issue ? I drove Lexus since 1991, first is ES 250 (for her), then LS400 91, 94, RX300 (for her), 97 LS400, LS430-2001, bought for son RX330, switch to LS430-2002 with luxury package when my 2001 was totally lost, and finally got this LS460-2013. And Lexus cars are great, no complain, just enjoy the ride . Except this 2013-LS460. Don't know LS500, but thank you every one and HAPPY NEW YEAR 2019.

The seat issue is not a common issue at all, I'm sure something was simply broken by the previous owner.

Anyone been able to fix the clock without replacing it? I saw one poster mention they disconnected the battery for a while and that reset it all.

I have a clock that has been wrong since i updated it for DST. It isn't off by an hour, it is off by all sorts of odd times. Nothing consistent with what it is doing.

It might be helpful if you would remind us what year your car is and what clock settings you are using.

TIME ZONE?
DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME?
AUTO ADJUST CLOCK?

I have a 2014.
Central.

I used the daylight savings option to get it set correctly. It lasted for the day but the next time I got in I noticed it was ahead by about a hour and 10 minutes. When I did the daylight savings time was the last time my poor clock would function normally.

I set it manually to correct it. Next day same thing. Always ahead by a random amount of time. I tried using mountain time to get it go back in a different manner but the next morning it was wrong again.

You seem to be uncertain what clock settings to use.

It seems to me that for your location and the next 6 months or so, if you want your car's clock to be synchronized by the GPS System and display the correct local time, you would want to use these clock setup settings:

Time Zone: CENTRAL
Daylight Saving Time: ON
Auto Adjust Clock: ON

Be sure to press SAVE after you make these settings.

You do not need to, and you should not make any adjustments to the clock. You just need to wait. Depending on circumstances, your clock may synchronize immediately. But, if your car is positioned where a GPS signal can not be received, as in a garage or under heavy foliage or between tall buildings, then the clock will not synchronize until a synchronization signal is received. If you drive your car it will likely get somewhere where it can receive the signal.

If you have added electronic equipment to your car that radiates RF energy that interferes with the GPS signal then that may prevent your clock from syncing.

I did all the settings you mentioned and it still is wrong. I am going to try the unplugging the battery step as my next step.

If I do the whole disconnecting the battery to reset the computer that drives the clock what am I going to have to renter again? Radio stations? Maintenance reminders? Seats positions?

Is it a a clean slate for everything it only certain functions?
